The camera is nice with good quality photos. However, the picture online is not the same color of the camera. I purchased this product specifically because I wanted a purple digital camera. When I received the camera to my disappoint it was more of a navy blue than any shade of purple.

I’VE ALWAYS OWNED KODAK CAMERA … WELL, FOR THE KODAK M380 I EXPECTED MORE I THOUGHT THE PIC QUALITY WOULD HAVE BEEN REALLY REALLY GOOD BUT IT’S JUST OKAY NOTHING TO SAY WOW! ABOUT. I HAD AN OLD C VERSION AND THE QUALITY IS MORE CLEAR AND ALSO, WHE U TURN ON THE CAMERA TO TAKE A PIC THE SCREEN LOOKS WEIRD WITH SOME GRAINS THIS MAKES ME MAD CUZ I HATE SEEING THE GRAINS HOWEVER, WHEN YOU DO TAKE THE PIC IT HAS NO GRAIN SO I SAY IT’S OK . MY FRIEND HAD A NIKON COOLPICK S220 AND THE QUAILTY ON THE NIKON SUCKS …. I WOULD NEVER EVER TELL SOMEONE TO BUY THAT… SO THE KOAK M 380 HAS A NICE WIDE SCREEN WHICH IS A PLUS IT’S EASY TO USE AND THE (TEAL) WHICH I OWN IS QUITE NICE. IT’S SLIM SO I HAVE COME A FAR WAY BECUZ THE C VERSION I WAS USING IS SOOO BULKY AND HEAVY.
I SAY BUY THIS IF YOU LIKE A NICE WIDE SCREEN CHOOSE THE TEAL TO STAND OUT NOT MANY PEOPLE HAS THAT COLOUR.

I had previously bought a Kodak camera for my young daughters and it broke. We had been happy with it overall, and the girls loved their camera, so I bought the m380 because it is cheap but also because I didn’t think my young girls needed more camera than it offered. And they don’t, but they do need better construction than Kodak apparently delivers. My girls are not rough and tumble sorts and treated their camera very carefully, but this one again broke, with the lens refusing to retract and then not taking any pictures, all after just a couple days. I would like the Kodak cameras for entry-level kids’ cameras, except apparently you just can’t make a camera as cheaply as they do without it being fatally flawed and prone to breaking. On the bright side, Amazon was great and issued a prompt refund.
