It needs special (read expensive) AA batteries that I am trying to purchase on the Internet. <br /> <br />Never install the software that comes with any camera. Use a card reader and your camera will treat it like a storage device. You can move the jpg files from the camera to your computer. You can edit and print with Picasa which is free. <br /> <br />When I find more batteries, I will update my review. It does not support the San Disk 4GB card that is listed as supported in the manual. Does not support Transcend 4GB card as well(listed as a "buy together" on the Amazon page). Nikon support said the camera is faulty. Either Nikon does not have a tight process for quality control or this new camera model has a design flaw. Not going to buy Nikon products again.
