I wanted a camera that took good, clear pictures and I know you don’t have to spend a ton of money. I read a couple of reviews on cameras and Canon seemed to be a good bet. I went to Best Buy and was pretty much talked into this camera telling me it was just as good if not better than the more expensive Canon I was looking at. Well the pictures are so grainy and not in focus… after printing some of them out, I won’t print the rest its a waste of my money. Since then I’ve found more reviews complaining about the same thing… don’t buy, you’ll be sorry. Buy the time I realized it wasn’t me my 2 weeks to return it had pasted

I am sorely disappointed with my new Coolpix. I have a very old one with which I was quite happy, but I wanted to upgrade to a much smaller, higher MP camera. This camera seemed like a great deal for a 10MP slim camera with VR. The problem is that white walls & Caucasian people look yellow or orange with this camera. I haven’t yet printed any photos or looked at any on the computer, but on the camera, most photos look awful. I will update y’all once I have printed a few of the photos & see if it is simply a bad camera LCD, or if the photos are really that awful. If it is simply the camera LCD, well, I can live with that. If the photos are as awful as they look on the camera LCD, then I will be returning the camera to Amazon ASAP.

Was not very happy to find that this camera didn’t have A memory chip or carrying case as the one did, my son bought at Costco for the same money.

This camera is so bad, I can’t believe it hasn’t been pulled from the shelves. I work with digital cameras and wouldn’t give this to my worst enemy. Buy the Canon SD780 or SD1200 IS instead. They actually take great pictures!

I thought this camera was decent based on other reviews, but after owning it for a while it is really sub-par. Save your money for something else. It just does not work correctly or as indicated. It takes ok video, but the pictures are not very good quality and it’s impossible to force changes to some picture settings, particularly night. I get better pictures from my 3 megapixel cell phone!!! Can’t believe I wasted my money on this POS.
